Default What can 9 bucks buy you? *EDIT* < $5.00 The prices have fallen further!

Chiefs tickets. The Broncos have sucked the life out of arrowhead.

$25 for field level endzone! Jeez for maybe the one and only time in my life, I'm jealous of Chief fans. Of course you'd have to watch the epic fail that is the Chiefs, so you get what you pay for.

And the answer is:

The Chiefs’ sellout streak will remain intact for at least one more week.

The team said Friday that enough tickets have been sold for Sunday’s home game against the Buffalo Bills to avoid a local television blackout. At midweek, the game was 3,500 tickets short of a sellout. By league rules, the game must be declared a sellout 72 hours before kickoff, but the NFL granted the Chiefs a 24-hour extension to sell the remaining unsold tickets.

Why couldn't this have happened two weeks ago? I would have driven the 7 hours to go to the game for $9 tickets.

I'm tempted to buy one just for the novelty of it. I'll show it to my kids one day so they'll think I'm a cave man. Back in my day a pop was a dollar and Chiefs tickets were 9!

It is funny. But it is also sad. That franchise has really gone to ground. I am wondering what Hunt is thinking. Maybe he is one to think about the LA area. They don't like losers out there, either, but the whole Chiefs organization have a long way to go to get cleaned up. That is a marketing nightmare, and I am not sure how long the NFL can allow that to remain a cesspool. The KC and Cleveland teams need serious help along with Jackville.

I am like everyone else here in that beating the KC mullets twice a year is like heaven sent ambrosia. But this is a sad commentary on a franchise with some history behind it representing a proud and beautiful fountain ladened city.

But, Jeez, it is funny.......

Who would want to see 2-10 Cleveland visit the 3-9 Chefs? There are only 5 wins between the 2 teams in week 12.

The real question's are, if you lived in KFC would you drive a camero, wear a mullet, and marry your sister.

This proves that you can see a professional football game at a great price. Yes they suck but this is when you can see who backs their team under some of the worst circumstances. If the weather isnt bad, just tailgate then leave before the misery happens at kickoff.
