Default Radiers want Weis and Clausen

Yes Bronco fans there is a Santa Clause and he might deliver Weis to the Radiers and would doom them for another 5 years or so.............

Weis’ ability to develop quarterbacks in the NFL would be the main factor in the decision. Weis could develop Russell and if that fails, Clausen would be a good transition. Bring in a coach like Weis, who is familiar with Clausens abilities, and the Raiders offense might come to life. It would be similar to Jon Gruden bringing in Rich Gannon.

Between Weis and Russell, you'd have about 800lbs of pure artery clogging fat, both on the sideline.

Clausen is going to be a fine NFL QB. Quinn is starting to look like a good QB and Clausen is better then him.

Clausen is a sniveling, whining, punk. He would look perfect in the silver and black.

Would love to see the Raiders as a woeful underachieving team that loses big games like the Fainting Irish. Bring in Chuck!

Will there be a buffet on the sideline?

Bleacher Report is written by college kids that write for free. It's about as far from a credible source as one can get.

If they just kept working on the quality of their O-line, they might be pretty good next season.

Then there's that Al Davis thing...

I think I saw something locally about Weis liking the OC job in Chicago.

If Weis has any sense he will back away from the trainwreck that is the Oakland Raiders.

There is no way in hell that the Raiders are going to get Clausen not with the Rams sitting at the two spot and trying to run Bulger out of town. I would say that if the Raiders stay in their current spot that they will take either Mays or Berry.

If the Rams dumped Bulger I would love to see him here. Bulger has proven when he has weapons around him and he gets time he is a very good QB. If healthy Bulger could be better then Cassel was in McD's system. I like Orton but if we couldn't get him back at a good price Bulger would be a very good option.

He might be pretty good in McD's offense actually ... don't be surprised.

well, Im sure some people would like to bring Weis and Clausen here because this whole McD and Orton experiment has been a huge failure

maybe next year we can have Weis calling in plays to Clausen and have a Clausen/Hillis double threat

I get the feeling McDaniels is not the kind of coach to draft a OB and will opt for a OB with NFL experience and tons of film he can look at. I see Orton as the man here for a long time .......

Only a retread coach desparate to an NFL head coach again or some guy who probably would never be hired to be an NFL head coach would touch the Raider job.
