Default Pittsburgh v. Baltimore: Game thread and poll...

This game has implications for us, obviously. I've heard varying opinions on what helps us more. What do you think?

Should be a hard-hitting game. Looking forward to it.

For what it's worth, Pitt looks to have the easiest schedule left in that division. Cincinnati plays a few tough opponents.

I don't know, I was hoping someone could point it out for me. I don't know who to root for.

That said, if we take care of business were in, no matter what the other teams do. And I'm not giving up on the division just yet. If we win the three games against the West and one of the Colts/Philly games, we take it. Big IF though.

A Pittsburgh win is best in my book.

If Pittsburgh wins that means Baltimore can at most get 10 wins and with away games at Pittsburgh and Green Bay coming up even that is unlikely so they are all but out of the wild card race.

Currently only 3 none division leaders in the AFC have 6 or more wins and with a Baltimore loss that would remain the case.

Of those 3 Jacksonville is at 6-5 but they have yet to play both Indy and Houston and should finish no better than 10-6.

Essentially a Pittsburgh win and all but some miracles makes the AFC Wild card race a 3 horse derby with Pittsburgh, us and Jacksonville. I believe we can finish better than Jacksonville and thereby go to the playoffs regardless of divisional standing. If Baltimore wins that leaves 2 teams to compete with for wild card spot if we can't overtake San Diego and both teams would have the head to head tie breaker.

I'm trying to save hope for the division but I just can't, especially after the beating SD handed to the Chiefs today. I'm sure the Chargers will lose again, but really they don't have any games they should lose. Maybe Dallas, but still, I doubt it.

This coupled with the fact that we will probably go 3-2, if we are lucky 4-1. And as it looks now, there is just no way in hell I see us beating the Colts.

That said, it's really tough to choose who to root for tonight. I really would enjoy the Steelers losing, but it's really hard to figure out how things are going to play out in that division. I'm going to guess Cincy wins it since they have the tiebreaker over the Steelers, so I guess I'm hoping for Baltimore.

Chargers are very beatable, and they won't stay this hot forever. I think they MAY lose three more, against Dallas, Cinci and Tennessee. I highly doubt it, but it's possible. I'd say about 60% chances they lose two more. That means we'll have to go 4-1 which will be tough, but possible too.

Anyway, they are only one game up with 5 to go. Stranger things have happened.

That Washington game really hurts now.

Losing the division this year would suck balls too... but it will be a lot less painful if we get a wildcard. We're in good shape now... we just CAN'T lose against KC or Oak. No letdowns, no trap games. Just win! Other than SD winning, this was a good weekend for us.

I really like how ben is on the sidelines and envolved in what is going on the field you ever notice where cutler is after his offensive series ( sitting on the bench)
