Yup , good for V.Y. ... I wasn't sold on him out of college and with all the drama of his first few years BUT it's good to see him coming around and after him showing up for Steve's kids i have a lot of respect for that. Good for dude...

I'm in the exact same place. Didn't like his pro prospects and it was starting to look like I was right. He has something going right now, though. Fun to watch.

Maybe he's pulled his head out of his ass and might actually make something of himself.

On another note.

The Chuggers have the Browns, Cowboys, Bengals, Titans, and Redskins on their schedule.

Not quite as soft as it looked a few weeks ago now is it?

So, someone tell me why they waited until they lost six games in a row before
they decided to put Vince Young in as the starting QB?

I'm going with cause they was 13-3 last year with their other QB and figured to be a contender for the super bowl with him this year ...

so, who is the best qb from the class of '06?

Think I'd have to vote for Vince.

It appeared he could have run for the TD, but he threw the ball. A sign of maturity.

Tried to tell y'all. Might have to bump a thread to call out some of the haters.

You can't spell victory without VY.

Good point. Right now it would be hard to disagree with this.

He has to be the frontrunner for comeback player of the year. That drive was the most exciting bit of football I've watched all year. Congrats to VY.

I love what he's doing, but he has a LONG ways to go to become a quality QB. Your going to see teams adjusting more and more, and then those pesky accuracy issues will crop up again.

Is this the time where everyone who incessantly bashed me for liking Vince Young more than Cutler for the last 3 years comes to kiss my ****ing ass now?

Because Collins led that team to 13-3 record after managment had to talk VY off the ledge following the opening game. The Titans essentially washed their hands of him. I think it's possibly the best story of the season.

Well, it's great to have a stud like C. Johnson back there...reminds me of the yards Portis used to rip for us.

It's great to see Vince Young playing like he did at Texas and his first couple years in the NFL . . . Hook 'em Vince!

Titans are sure playing well right now. I like Vince since Im from Austin but wasnt sold on him in the pros. Nice to see he "gets it" and is playing well.

V Young is an amazing scrambler. In that area I think he's better -- even -- than Elway.

Not that he has the arm. But even so -- VY is a winner. He's a leader on the field -- and it shows.

He is hands down the best of the three QBs drafted in 2006. Cutler and Leinart are the pretenders.

It looks like sitting on the bench did him some good. He sure is playing well. Amazing really. Not that he never had talent but how stepped in without skipping a beat. Good for him.

Vince Young is 23-11 in his NFL career as a starter.

That's better than 21-27, right?

I was always saying that if the Titans sat Collins and started Young, things would turn around... but I never imagined this.

The time VY spent on the bench served him well.
