Watching the Bears vs Vikings, and I thought they said that the Bears do not have a 1st or 2nd round pick in the upcoming draft! Did I hear that right? Oh snap the might Bears are in trouble

1st to us
2nd was for Gaines Adams trade

I think they traded their 2nd to Tampa for Gaines Adams.

The bears are set up for years of below average seasons ( thats what bringing in jay cost them) but draft picks are a crap shoot anyways so later round picks may pay off at every OL position.

Ain't no might about it! They put all there eggs in the Jay Cutler basket and the yokes on them..."chuckle"

They tried to stop cap LT with Pace, but age and injuries have robbed him of talent.

Also that defense isn't getting younger or better. They will have to spend $$$ on free agency and hope to land some long term talent.

Popps, get off of this tip. When someone has a cannon arm, what do "picks" matter? Just throw the damn ball through everybody. That will overcome a lousy team. So what if Jay never won anything? The NFL is a job, we all make mistakes...

To be honest, unless something really drastic happens in the next month, I can't think of a single guy on their roster that would be worth a first or second rounder in a trade.

His extension has made him untradeable even for any team that may like him.

Briggs is worth a very high pick, he is the only Defensive player worth anything but no way they move him.

I bet a team that needs a returner would give a lot to get Hester, no way he is worth anything as a WR but Cribbs was talked about going for a 2nd or higher.

I think they should trade Hester this offseason, he is not even the fastest guy on the team anymore, Knox is plus he is not afraid to get hit...and knows where to line up at WR.

There was a rumor on the score last Tuesday that the McCaskets tried to contact Cower for preliminary talks. They deny it but they need a bloodletting in the FO and coaching staff.

Problem for Chicago is now no legitimate coach will touch this team with Ryan Leaf v. 2.0 starting at QB. You can put lipstick on a pig but Cutler is a less then mediocre QB at this point and that doesn't look to change. Sorry Bears fans you got screwed..... AGAIN.

Adewale Ogunleye and Anderson are FA's next year so maybe they thought that Adams could fill that void if they both walk. Still I don't know how you trade a second round pick for a DE when clearly LB or OL is a HUGE issue for your team right now.

The Bears have the makings of a team that will be doing some serious rebuilding in the offseason starting at coach and maybe GM.
