We should have been prepared to have put Brandstater in the last two series. If Orton goes down, we're still stuck with Simms.

Simms needs to be demoted to 3rd string. It's not all entirely his fault. But the fact is he's a lefty and the right side of our line is not doing so well. It just doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me having a rusty, backup QB going into a disadvantage like this.

I'm flabbergasted as to why we haven't seen Brandstater yet, what are they waiting on, give the kid some playing time, it can't get no worse. He looks like he has a nice downfield throw and some escapability in the pocket. Bring back the naked bootleg.
