Default Guess how many points per game we are averaging?

.170 divided by 10 games= 17

http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorysta...G&d-447263-n=1

What? Didn't we hire the mastermind behind the Patriots record setting offensive machine? we average 23 pts/game last year....up from 20 points/gm the year prior...hmmmmmmmm

McDingle= another rotten product of the bellicheat coaching tree......... Who is at fault? DISCUSS.

It starts with the Defense, completely fallen apart! Then next I'd put it on the play of the Quarterback and Offensive line.

Our time of possession has been DREADFUL--that falls squarely on our inability to keep the chains moving..that's wgere it all starts--and we were VERY good on 3rd dwn last year........which is the MONEY down

The hot start by our defense raised the expectations to unrealistic levels.

The defense has been playing at an average level, but looks a lot worse since our offense is downright dreadful.

Your posts are a lot like broncofan7. Lots of periods…double hyphens--and you like to capitalize WHOLE WORDS.

EDIT: and your first post was the day after his ban started.

Which is exactly what I predicted would happen to the defense. But then I just got labeled a hater.

Guys, it's not rocket science. In fact, it's almost identical to last year.

1. Too many turnovers by the offense, particularly in the red zone; and

2. Next to no turnovers forced by the defense.

You mean you said something like "yeah our defense looks great but let's see where they end up" based from historic evidence that Broncos defenses often start hot and fizzle out mid season? Then people talked **** right? Happened to me too.

I wanted to explode reading all the stuff around here about the return of the orange crush. We had this exact same discussion a few years ago on Coyer's last year too.

Except Shanahn was blamed in those days for all our defensive woes--it was his fault our defenses weren't good. But who has the fault now? I mean with most of his defensive starters turned over, who takes the blame now?

And I'm kind of serious about that question...without him or the old defensive coaches or most of those old players, I'm kind of wondering what the hell is wrong in Denver.

Right now...we suck in all 3 phases of the game. The last I checked....Head Coaches can get fired if they suck and any one of those 3 phases.

What will be interesting is whether Bowlen retains confidence in McDaniels if he keeps sliding. Let's say we end up 8-8 or even 9-7. We won't make the playoffs. This after starting out 6-0. Will Bowlen stick with McDaniels?

You should edit in a DJ Williams or Brandon Marshall slam while you're here though.

While our defense has been soft the last several games, our offense has not been a juggernaut all season. I predicted this sort of productive output for the entire season, because I frankly did not think our defense would improve as much as it had. I did say if our D hadn't been playing that way, we'd have very low points. And this has been proven out the last several weeks.

If our rookie RB can improve, and we can get our lines playing physical again, and blitz again (what the hell was it with the lack of blitzes tonight?), I think we'll be ok.
