Default Source: Bills court Shanahan

Schefter reporting it... They've contacted and are in the process of arranging a meeting with MS to be the next coach of the Bills.

CU should play Buffalo for the rights to Shanny, it would be an even game...and I am not sure which side that is more sad for

Prediction: They could give Mike Lake Erie and he still won't take the job.

Shanahan, a two-time Super Bowl winner with the Broncos, is said to be willing to listen to the Bills. He has said in the past that he is determined to return to the NFL next season.

Why would he want Lake Erie? It touches Cleveland.

So, they fired Jauron so they could get a head start on the big names out there. Smooth move.

Probably not a bad idea for Mike to take a job now, actually. I would assume he wouldn't have any interest in coaching the team this year, but he'd be able to sit from afar and analyze what is and isn't working with the organization.

But Buffalo? yuck.

Okay, how about this; They could give him Niagara Falls and he won't take that job?

Do it, Shanahan. That way, Bowlen doesn't have to dish out more cash to you...

I think Shanahan to the Eagles would be interesting. A team with a legit, veteran QB who's been to the Super Bowl but never won it. Sound familiar?

Eagles will probably take the safe route and keep Reid but there is growing fan sentiment that he needs to go. A hell of a lot better job than Buffalo if it became available!

Shanahan wouldn't put up with TO. He didn't want him in Denver, and he won't want him in Buffalo...

interesting..they have a young D with some big names and a stagnant O....would maybe be a good fit for Shanny, but I would hate to see him in the AFC

Yes it does sound familiar. It sounds something Spaghetti Mort would say.

Buffalo seems like a good fit for Shanahan --- Kyle that is.

Didn't Shanny sit down with TO and Bowlen at one point before he went to Cowboys?

I thought Shanny was interested but Bowlen said no.

I am guessing Shanny goes just to do the interview. I have gone on job interviews before just because I hadn't done one in awhile and was interested to see if it was worth a bump.

At the end of the day I am guessing Shanny waits until the season ends before he jumps on board anywhere.

That said it would be fun to have Slowic's D back on the field in the NFL especially in the AFC, that would mean we would only have to compete with 15 teams for the playoffs.

But you type it well.

You know there are people on this board that have disabled kids right? Maybe next time chose another word or make fun of the guys haircut or something.

You may be right on that one. I forgot who made the call on not signing TO.
