Do you really think the Raiders cut him cause he isn't better than J.R.

They cut him cause they didn't want him supplanting J.R. giving him a mental thing ... not that any of that mattered .... But seriously he was cut cause they didn't want him nipping at russell's heels all season.

Agreed @ TDmvp's last post.

His getting cut from the Raiders was political and nothing more. They wanted nothing to do with a QB controversy. They told Garcia there'd be no competition, and then cut him when he pressed the issue.

Actually he asked to be released from Oakland but even if you picked him up he wouldnt be ready. Your offense isnt like any he has been in before.

But anyways. I'm not saying we should sign Garcia, but just that the deal with Oakland was not a reflection on his talent, IMO.
