Default Kyle Orton Injury: Reports - Orton sits out Friday practice. Listed questionable.

Obviously, McD and Co. aren't going to let on... but maybe something will slip out. We really need him back next week.

He was standing, which is probably a good sign. Ankle injuries are a b****, though. Speculation... if it were severe, he would have been on crutches or at least iced up. Though, maybe he couldn't be because we didn't have a 3rd active QB?

Hope he's a quick healer...

Brandstater can still come in as emergency QB, even if he's declared inactive.

Orton needs to play next week, and at 100% too, otherwise we're ****ed.

Good thing he isn't a mobile QB to begin with I just hope he's healthy enough to plant that foot solidly next week.

As luck would have it, I'm coming off of a 2nd degree ankle-turn, myself. (Hoops.. of course.) Whole foot is black and blue and was puffed for about 7 days. Limp is gone, but still sore.

These injuries are a b****!

Orton came up hobbling after being tackled on a third-down scramble right before halftime. He was on the sideline during the second half, his ankle heavily taped.

"I was hoping to come back out, and I just wasn't able to," said Orton, who was 11 for 18 for 193 yards and two long touchdown passes to Brandon Marshall.

Coming out of halftime, Orton said he tried a few practice throws but then told coach Josh McDaniels he wouldn't be able to play.

Orton said after the game it was too soon to say whether he would be able to play against the San Diego Chargers next Sunday.

"I'm not going to sit here and talk about it," he said.

I don't think we will know about the injury.
I believe he will not be able to go next week.

This kind of reminds of 2003 when we had two QB's hurt, it's not the case here but has some of the same feeling to me.

If Orton cant go and Simms just plain sucks, why not start the rook?

If Orton is down and we lose next week, we should be starting Brandstater after the Giants game on Thanksgiving.

Are you there, God? It's me, Moose.

Please don't let Chris Simms start for my team against Marmalard and the cellphone chargers next week. Please.

Thank you.

FOX REPORT: Jay Glazer reports Denver expects Orton to miss next week's game at the minimum.

That means it's Chris Simms vs. SD.

FUN!

Hi God! Yes we do! he's the guy that threw for almost 200 yards and two touchdowns in the first half. Kyle... Neckbeard, I think.
