Default Pac Man vs. Cotto

Anyone gonna watch this fight?

I would like to see Pacquiao win, he is a good ambassador for boxing...

If Manny wins that is an amazing record, 7 world championships in 7 different weight classes, nobody will ever top that.

Are you kidding? Cotto wanted to quit in the 11th. Ref was just doing what Cotto's father wanted to do.

Excellent fight by Pac-Man!

Boxing still exists? Is it 1989?

I didn't even know this huge event was happening but let me go out on a limb and ask if maybe the fight was tainted or was a huge disapointment? Seems to have happened with the last 10,000 big boxing events.

No taints tonight. The fight was very entertaining. The first 3-4 rounds were non stop action from both. It had the making of a very good fight and then,....Pac Man dominated the rest of the way. disapointment?... I would say no. Worth 55 dollars .. probly not.

IMO the fight will never happen, its a shame. The only way i see May doing the fight would be if the media starts claiming PacMan is best PFP in the world and the money would be a record amount. Mayweather is all about the money and media buzz.

Please, if you didn't know there was a fight tonight your living in a hole. Pac man Vs Money may is going to break pay per view records. I live in an area (and a household) with a HUGE filipino population so they are out partying tonight.

What the hell is 55 dollars if you have a couple people over? If you go to a bar to watch it it costs 20 bucks a piece plus booze and food.

Man I love Pac-Man! Plus the old lady is filipino so I kinda have to love him. Going to these houses where there are 5-10 filipinos is pretty exciting. They really get into it. Really hope Pac-Man-Mayweather happens in the spring and really hope Pac-Man knocks him out.

Not a good fight? The 2nd through 4th rounds were absolutely epic, as good as you will ever see. And even though Pac dominated after the 5th, there was still plenty of action and Cotto never quit and got in some good shots. And the stoppage was fine, Cotto was taking a beating and his team did not complain about the stoppage either.

Ignorance. The last couple of years several fights have set all-time pay per view records or at least done smashingly well. When the final numbers are in this fight will have done around 1.5 million buys. Mayweather-Marquez did over a million. Pacman-Hatton as well. Boxing is alive and well, and is as big as it's ever been outside the US. Ignorant folks just claim its dying because it doesn't get the coverage from SI and ESPN it used to. But the fights still sell very well and draw a lot of viewers, and boxing is probably second only to soccer in Latin America and Europe.
