Default Broncos/Redskins pregame chatter

this thread is to talk about the big game coming up. I live in Maryland and i will be attending this game and it has been raining here since Tuesday, they evacuated cities near the beach and closed schools. There is some serious flooding going on over here. My school was canceled today because of storm, how do you see us playing is VERY poor conditions.

Well I don't know how big the game really is but it is big for us. We can't lose three in a row and definitely not to Washington. I expect us to play well and get out of there at 7-2. I'll be very disappointed if we don't.

What does this thread have to do with Cutler's 5 interceptions?

Kidding aside, it's obviously a big game... though I'm not of the mindset that any game is a "gimmie" in this version of the NFL.

That said, I think this is the week we get our running game back on track. Washington actually has a fairly stout passing defense, and it's obvious that the running game is going to be a focus for us.

We SHOULD win this game, but I don't expect a blowout. I hope they're not taking Washington lightly.

I'm in DC it stopped raining earlier tonight already. No idea why you're so concerned about the weather. Next 2 days will be nice

I'm hearing from a lot of washington radio people that if Washington was gonig to win a game this is it. Denver coming off two bad losses, maybe coming down to earth a little bit. Flying all the way out east for a 1 oclock game, all sets up for a let down for the Broncos. I don't see it, but its what I'm hearing.

The Broncos never play well in early east coast games. This is a classic trap game and i hope they are ready for the skins best shot. Our offensive line does not match up well with their d-line and strong d-lines have been an Achilles heel the last two weeks so it may be closer than people think.

If we can run for 100-120 yards as a team and minimize the turnovers to no more than one, we should win the game.

We HAVE to start running the ball better.

I think we get back on track in a close game....Denver 20-16.

Let's just get a win any way we can and gear up for San Diego the next week.

Makes two of us. Its entirely conceivable that the Broncos win, SD loses and we are back up 2.5 games on SD. A little bit of breathing room would be good to have down the stretch.

Its not a classic trap game because we've dropped our last two. Had we won one of them, then sure...but you better believe the broncos arent looking past the skins

complete crap....most are talking about how bad the offensive line is and what Doom is going to do. They took a poll on the radio and most fans were more excited to see the Pats vs Colts game.....

This is a game that if Shanahan was coaching, they would lose (like the Lions game). This is where we will see how prepared and ready McDaniels can get a team to be.

I live in VA (about 20 minutes from the stadium), I played in a lacrosse game last night, have one tonight and everything was fine. If a group of grown men can play in the rain with metal sticks, I believe a group of grown men playing football will be fine.

It's suppose to be 70 tomorrow....

Weather shouldn't be issue. FedEx has good drainage system and most of the heavy rain has moved off. To all you going to the game, enjoy those frozen Johnny Rocket Burgers and remember no signs that don't praise Danny boy.

I'd say that Orton or Moreno are going to have to hook up Washington with good field position at least two or three times for the Skins to have a chance in this one. Their defense is a lot better than it gets credit for, it just gets worn down by their worthless offense.

I take it you missed the game at Atlanta last year. And Washington is no Atlanta.

After losing 2 straight and basically getting our butts kicked in both, and with a rookie head coach, do you really think we will take this one lightly?

This is the game we need. A game to "get right." Id be shocked if we dont win by at least 10.
