Default Mandatory 1st Round Pick Watch (Bears vs 49ers)

These last two weeks have left a bad taste in my mouth... also Cutler played too well the last game despite the loss.

Here's hoping for a 49ers blowout and 3 INT's from Cutler.

Too well? He played so well Fox cut from the Bears to go to a Tampa Bay game.

Nice stats, but that game was absolutely out of reach before he did anything against a defense that was just trying to get the game over as fast as possible.

Cutler and the Bears offense put up 7 points in the first half against Arizona, when the game was still a contest of sorts.

He put up some nice stats against a defense that pretty much switched off the second half. Until the game got to within two scores that is, when he proceeded to throw the pick that put the game away for good.

Jay needs to start playing more consistently. The offensive line is poor, no doubt, but regardless he's not playing like a guy you give up two 1sts and a solid starting QB for.

Tonight is massive for the Bears. They've got Philly and Minnesota the next two games after tonight, 4-7 would be a real possibility if tonight doesn't go well for them. The pressure would be really on Jay then, I wonder how patient the Bears fans will be with him if the season gets away from them. Looking at their schedule, I see one gimme win left for them. The rest of their schedule is far from easy, though they go to Detroit on final day.

A top 10 pick for us next season is a real possibility.

Vernon Davis has started off the pregame well, He and Ogunleye had some pretty serious words.

Holy crap that Bears oline is poor. On 3rd down the LT and RG both got run clean over and the RT just stood around without blocking.

pregame was awesome, deion talked about what ive been saying all year: something to the effect of "why when a QB struggles do we make excuses that all the people around him are the problem? why cant it just be that the QB is not playing well?"

they all pretty much agreed that cutler isnt playing well and even compared him to jeff george. deion said that people love cutler because he can make all the throws, but what else has he done, hes never had a winning season, won a playoff or bowl game. then when mariotti talked, the first thing he said was cutler can make all the throws.

Devin Hester is like there only real threat and he's good. Forte is also good, but thats pretty much it. Oh ya #6 can make all the throws.

No need to get mad over my comment. Cutler played well. A QB can play well and still be in a game where his team gets their ass kicked.

YAY 49ers got a redzone INT from Cutler!

His receiver wasn't even open. Was he trying to throw the ball thru the 49er. Vintage JC.
