On a related note, upon reading this, Dawkins flew to Baltimore, got his gear on, and will be doing push ups on the field until Sunday. It was that, or explode.

Preston is a donut eating douchebag. he had a bug up his ass about Billick and spent years trying to get him run out of town. he's not well-respected by Baltimore sports fans. they consider him a hack.

He's talking about past games where Denver has folded against the Ravens. Evidently he's picked us before to beat them and we let him down. He calls this Raven team smash mouth and unlike any other team we've faced. Another guy who picks the Ravens because they are desperate. Flawed logic IMO.

This guy is a sportswriter? Sounds like they interviewed some Fat Homeless guy--and in Baltimore there are plenty of those.

The Broncos are soft and will fold?
Then he goes on to describe a 'hard fought' game that the Ravens will win by 3 because their backs are against the wall.....unless the Ravens can't stop Denver's short passing game. He's got all the bases covered. ![]() |

Anyone see the comment that suggests the Ravens will "take advantage" of Denver's secondary? His reasoning is that that Dawkins is "ailing" and Champ is still great, but they've had success against him before.
As usual, I'm hoping their gameplan is to try to take advantage of Champ. |

I'm a little worried about the Ravens being bigger but I think Broncos can make plays in the passing game. I don't however see us running alot inside on them.
I think on defense Broncos won'thave much respect for the Raven WR. Look for plenty of safety run blitzes on the early down like we have done all yr. |

Ravens gave up back to back 100 yard rushing games and its the Broncos who are soft...ok.

When you win close games people don't fear you. Broncos are 6-0 but Cincy lost on a huge fluke play, Dallas could have tied game last play, NE could have went either way had they made a big play etc.
So teams will think we can be beaten. Broncos IMO winning because the coaching is so good not because our guys push people around. We are holding the edge better with Mcbean/Peterson/Holliday/Haggan And we are stouter up the gut with Feilds but none of those guys really push people around. They more hold there ground and let DJ/Doom get off. On the oline Clady/Graham/Kuper do sometimes push people around. Harris sometimes as well. But Ravens will have that edge inside sort of like how NE did with Wilfork. Ngata is stout. The gameplan will be good. Broncos will be rested and ready to go. |

even better, Baltimore has scored a total of 13 points in those two games combined. I hope the trend continues.

Well, the Ravens already played Minnesota, where it was purple on purple crime.
Meanwhile, someone contact the Broncos and inform them it's over. There's no hope, so why even show up? 3-0 3-1 3-2 3-3 (and pending) Yes, every reason to be terrified. |
