Default Schedule strength

http://espn.go.com/nfl/powerrankings?year=2009&week=8

I was looking at the ESPN power poll for the week and we play or will play against 6 of the current top 10 teams; of course we take up one of the 4 remaining spots, leaving only 3 of the top 10 we won't play in the regular season. Wow. In addition we play 8 of the top 16. We will certainly earn our mettle. So far so good. On the other hand we play or will play 4 of the bottom 8 (some twice). It appears we play no mediocre teams.

A lot of those teams will be dropping in the rankings after we beat their asses!

When you look at who Indy has played and compare it to NO's wins, having Indy #1 is a joke.

Also, it must be obligatory to have NE in the top 5. Cincy has been at least as impressive as NE.

Coming off a bye, the Broncos have had plenty of time to prepare for trip to Baltimore. (Kuharsky)
And anyone notice the phrasing in our description? Anyone notice how theyre already angling at claiming Denver is a fraud if they lose to Baltimore? Notice how he says Denver has had enough time to prepare but also not mentioning that Baltimore has also had 2 weeks.

Drew Brees is every bit Manning's equal right now. NO is more balanced than Indy and has equal firepower at QB.

The last two teams the Broncos beat have gone on to win three games by a combined score of 131-14 (Avg score 44-5 rounded). The last three teams the Broncos beat have yet to lose since being beaten by the Broncos. This should only make the Broncos accomplishments look more impressive, but of course Indy's demolishing of cream puff teams gets more credit. Ah well, the Broncos have plenty more opportunities against tough teams to show what they're made of.

None of the sports writers have a man-crush on Orton.

Doesn't matter... he's Peyton Manning.

I like how we've beaten 3 of the top 9 ranked teams in the NFL this season.

Yeah but we only beat Dallas and NE because of Garrett/Romo and Brady not being all the way back yet(he was magically "back" a week later). . Plus add to that, playing Cleveland and Raiders seems to count against us more than the games against tomato cans that other teams play.

This team has to keep it up. I can see SD finishing 10-6 possibly. They have some easy games down the stretch.
