Seems to be in line with the Suggs deal, perhaps with a slight bump. But the fact remains that Dumervil will be restricted next if it is an uncapped year. Most likely you don't have to pay him until 2011.

40 million guaranteed, no way in hell we give that to any player on this or any other team.
Dumervil is having an excellent season so far, but has not put up numbers like Ware has over the past 4 seasons. |

We're in the drivers seat for negotiations because of the CBA. I have a feeling a few of these guys might take some home town deals. They'll still be getting paid a ton of money but it won't be "Dan Snyder has a man crush on you" money.

Ware has proven himself as the best rush OLB in the NFL for nearly half a decade. Terrell Suggs isn't far behind in that standing.
Doom is looking great but he's more comparable to James Harrison, who got $51M with $20M guaranteed. We probably give Doom a bit more than that, but not much more I wouldn't think. |
