Default Week 7 observations

Brett Favre was just plain awful in the early going against Pittsburgh. He was underthrowing his recievers, looked a little confused in the pocket and wasn't doing a good job of finding his open guys.
Pittsburgh are very good on defense, they get a lot of pressure on the passer and seal off the outside running lanes well with Hampton controlling the inside. Their cornerbacks are not good though, if you can keep your QB standing you can get open and get yards on the outside.

The Kansas City offensive line is awful beyond words, the run blocking is sad to watch and Cassel is getting harrassed like a swimsuit model at a carpenters convention.

Buffalo is a sad team, TO couldn't hold on to the ball if they nailed it to him, the offensive line is getting bullied like a small redhaired kid with retainers, glasses, a speech impediment, body odour and bad clothes, the run game is predictable and the pass rush so bad John Engelberger would be an upgrade. Carolina on the other hand is actually two teams, they are a good team on the 30% of plays when good Jake Delhomme takes the snap and a UFL team when bad Jake Delhomme takes the snap.

* Im just really glad that we played Cincy when we did.
* Miami is 2-4 and two of their losses were to undefeated teams. And one was to Atlanta which is 4-2. Not sure what to make of Miami.
* It got really old seeing the media comment on the contrast of the Patriots being in England.
* Pittsburgh was lucky to win today.

I think Pittsburgh looks really beatable. The defense is still good, but they're not tackling and flowing to the ball like they did during their Superbowl run last year by any stretch.

They had two defensive TDs and one, if not both, of them had 10 pt swings. Basically, when you do the math, Minnesota wins going away if they hold on to the ball.
