Jamie Dukes has to be the least respected member of the NFL TV media.

You can tell by watching the other panel members reactions to any of his comments.

A little too early to crown em, but so far so good.

I remember him smirking about Kyle Orton being a QB in their Marshall interview in August. What a joke!

When he finally acknowledged the plainly obvious for all to see, that the Broncos are for real, did he also confess to being a first class moron with no redeeming value as a football analyst

Orton and Marshall have much more to prove before they get the big payoff.
I wasn't happy when Marshall had the Unsportsmanlike Conduct penalty for kicking the ball recently. He has much more improvement before he gets the big payout.

Marshall has earned it. Orton needs to continue to prove himself, but has done well so far. Either way, it will be an expensive offseason.

Go the rest of the season without getting in trouble with the law, breaking the substance abuse policy, making an inflammatory remark to the media, complain about playing time/coaching, or talk about his contract demands in public.

If he does that, I'm behind giving him a top 3 WR contract.

It WILL be an expensive off season....but worth it. Marshall still needs more Rod Smith (he's been there) in his ear, but he's getting there. Orton and Dumervil are incredibly underpaid. All three have contributed greatly to get us where we are right now. Pay them what they deserve.

if you noticed, he didn't even mention Josh McDaniels...

he only credits Nolan...

at least he mentioned Orton even if it was for just 2 seconds..."judicious" was his compliment for Orton...

Only a total fool would overlook such an incident as that and be cool with it.

People only see the big plays, but it's always two steps forward and one back with this guy and he should be paid accordingly to that till he gets the immaturity firmly under control. Once (if) he does that, then talk big time dollars.

if we just re-sign our own guys. Doom, Kuper, Marshall and Orton, we are looking at over 100 million in guaranteed money being given this offseason.

not that much. Kuper no pro bowls so he will get maybe 7 million guaranteed. Doom probably gets a lot, maybe 15 million. Marshall probably about 18 mil, thats what roddy white got. Orton won't get as much as cassel because he wont have as much leverage. He will be a RFA. He probably gets about what Cutler just got which was 20 million.

So more like 55-60 million in guarantees to sign those 4 players. IMO of course.
