Default Dumbest AFC West Fans?

I thought it would be fun to stir up a little crap.

Based on visits to other teams' boards, the trolls that visit here, and your personal interaction with other teams' fans, which fans do you suppose are the dumbest?

Feel free to state your reasoning. Or, just vote in the poll and move on. I don't care too much.

I'm going with the Chargers.

I like ChiefsPlanet. Those guys are mostly funny. Raiders fans are just sad. Chargers fans post stuff like my satirical thread predicting a perfect season - only they're serious.

San Diego's baseball fans are the dumbest in the NL West, too - for what it's worth.

Nice city, though!

I was at work the last week, this guy who was there to install a projector, was wear a "home-made" raiders shirt. He just took a sharpe and wrote raiders across the front and back of his white tee. Looked like it was written by a 6 year old. I asked him if he had lost a bet, he said "no, I am a raiders fan"

I went with the Raiders
They still find ways to get cheered up for their games
That's incredible!

See, you call him dumb. I see a guy who is supporting his favorite team without putting money in Al Davis's coffers.

In the division I'd say Oakland.

Outside of it, the Steelers. 5 minutes after losing the AFC Championship to Denver in 1997, everything black and gold that was not Penguin related dissapeared.

It's the fade fan because the younger generation is combination of moronic gang-bangers who don't even really follow the team, and make-believe tough guys who just like to look scary and talk smack because the costumes look mean.

The saddest thing is the majority of their fans still think Al Davis knows what he's doing. I'm completely serious. Where everywhere else his ineptness is a foregone conclusion, more than half of Raider fans think the problem is always the coach.

Look at the Kiffin firing: Lane wanted to bench Russell, he wanted to fire Ryan as the DC and he wanted to play more zone. These are all things that personally offended Al Davis.

A year later Russell looks like crap, Ryan ended up being fired anyway, and their man coverage scheme was so predictable we basically ran the same play on them, flip flopping it from side to the other just to "mix it up" and went up and down the field at will on them.

Now Cable is going to try and bench Ja-fatass and will likely get fired for trying to do so and pretty soon Al Davis will be finding bay area high school coaches to run his team.

It absolutely has to be the Raider fan base, such as it is. In addition to paying outrageous ticket prices, they also fork over cash for a 'seat license'. You mix in the fact that the team is somewhere in the ball park of an expansion franchise in terms of talent, and we have to agree that, to be a real Raider fan you either must have vast sums of expendable income, or you're a fool. Looking at the people that attend those games, a large income doesn't seem very likely. That leaves option 'B'.

easy pick. Raiders. Chiefs fans know their limitations and roll with it. Besides 3 great years at the beginning of the 2000s, Raiders have been pretty bad the last 15 years. The face of their organization, fan related, is a gangsta wearing, no idea thinking jobless ahole. Those that dont fall in that catagory are still too dumb to realize they are being shafted by the 105 year old Al Davis. I believe SI or a national magazine ranked their fans as the worst. In behavior or dumbest but probably both. Hands down, Faiders fans.

Had to go with the Raiders but they have great competition from the SD fans. I don't have a problem with a fan supporting their team, no matter how bad, that's loyalty. It's the crap they still have the nerve to say. SD never did a damn thing and suddenly they do something and their fans post as if they've always been that way and owned your team. KC fans just seem to think they'll do it next year, every year. They are a sad bunch and slightly delusional.

But I have to say, as far as teams that have usually been crap, the one I dread ever really winning something, is the Bengals. Those fans are downright, certifiably redneck, mentally challenged and would share their dumbness with the entire world. I believe SD fans are not far behind them. Sad, you wouldn't think that redneck syndrome would hit them but it has.

One of my favorite teams fans is Seattle. Pretty laid back and usually don't overrate their team.

I think SD fans are really underrated as dumb ass fans. The only fans I know that actually thought it was a good idea to fire a coach that just went 14-2. Now many of them want him back!

I remember when Shanahan called that last second timeout when Janikowski was trying to win by kicking a 50 something yard FG. It was the game where Janikowski made the one that didnt count and missed the one that did. I remember all the Raiders fans b****ing and screaming about this and suggesting it wasnt fair, without realizing that it could have actually backfired on Shanahan. And then when Oakland won the same way a week or so later, I really doubt they were complaining about it.

I think that nudges them ahead of Chiefs fans.

Chargers fans are lame but theyre not the dumber than Raiders fans.

The faid did it the next week and it was against the Browns. I remember as those morons calling us cheaters at the Broncos bar I hang out at in OC. Once they pulled the same thing and it worked, they only remembered that they just won. Incredibly stupid fans.

Is anyone truly a Raiders fan at this point? It kind of seems people like wearing make up, therefore, they're raider fans.

Many Charger fans don't even know their own team history... there was an incident here on the Mane where a Bronco fan (deliberately, intentionally) stated that Dan Fouts wore #16 (Leaf's number)... and it went unchallenged. Most Raider fans would know what number Stabler (for instance) wore.
