Default Pats hand Broncos first loss - according to Madden Sim

http://espn.go.com/videogames/simula...010?id=4541030

Bailey picks off Brady two times, and Bmarsh has huge game - but still not enough to stop the Pats.

Interestingly, Taylor and Buckhalter also miraculously managed to play.

I like how "fresh off ankle surgery" Fred Taylor is carrying the rock in the picture.

Good lord.

Besides, I don't think the Broncos let the Pats back in the game if they're taking 2 interceptions.

I think we beat the Pats in a way that is very reminiscent of their loss to the Jets.

IF we beat the Pats, we'll start getting some serious national attention... which will be completely lost if we lose to the Chargers the following week lol.

But hey if we go into the Bye 6-0... holy ****?

no way we get any positive press. we beat NE and we hear the excuses for NE. Brady still hasn't gotten back from injury, they missed Taylor, McDaniels cheated he former boss. it will be any number of things to make the Pats better than they are and show us as a fluke undefeated team.

IIRC, the correlation between the Madden Sim and reality is somewhere around 17 -18 %.

Good predictive tool, there, sport.....

Too many Bronco negative nellies to worry about positive press.

Its like no one actually watches FOOTBALL anymore and just go by who they want to win.

No, but it wouldnt have mattered.

The Jets threw Brady's timing off by pressuring the hell out of him with several blitzes. His passes were off kilter and it wasnt because he wasnt "back to form" it was because he was forced into throwing early because of Jet pressure.

Denver does the same, we win easily.

Actually, it was exactly because he wasn't 'back to form', that and the absence of welker.

If the the Pats played the Jets this week instead of week 2, they'd win. Brady's shown huge improvement each week. He's getting to the point where he once again will be more effective against the blitz than all but Manning. His career stats back that up.

I think kickoff will be between 4:00 and 4:30 pm Eastern Time. I don't think I should be making any predictions beyond that.

I would have to agree with madden...

The Pats are vastly superior to anyone we have played so far. Unless our offense suddenly wakes up and hangs 24+ on them we will probably be 4-1 Sunday night.

Denver runs 18 times and throws 42 times? Are you serious?
