Default FOX NFL robot getting old

I'm with Conan on this one. My god, how long has that robot been on the air for them, 10 years now or something? It's getting way old. We all know most of his moves are inspired by Ray Lewis. I love Conan's mock job on the robot.

Time for fox to come up with something new. This is getting sad now.

The robot is crap, but it gives people a reason to drink! - "ROBOT - DRINK!"

It's as predictable and boring as watching the Chargers on MNF and waiting for that awesomely informative ... "You know he played basketball in college" comment! :vomit:

SURELY the robot is the brainchild of some high up FOX Exec - that would be the only reason they would stick with dumb **** like that, for this long!!

Never understood why a robot needed pads or a helmet. Also never understood what a dancing football robot added to an NFL broadcast.

I hate everything about the Fox NFL broadcast. Listen to Buck, he sound like he's bored when he calls the games. The pre game show sucks, the robot sucks, all the guys calling the games suck, the burger king vs the robot thing sucks, the OT sucks, Ryann Seacrest hosting the Super Bowl pregame show a few years back sucked, it would be great if NBC would get the NFC games and shift Sunday night back to TNT like back in the day.

There's no reason that robot shouldn't be Optimus Prime. It'd be cooler and pull in some ad dollars while they're at it.

they cant unless they pay for the rights to the movie and the character from i think hasbro and marvel or whoever has the rights to do whatever they feel like to the transformers franchise, unless fox bought the rights. and even then there might be preconditions to the way they can use him ie dont think there can be any optimus prime gay pornos lol but that be a excellent ideal having a transformers fox nfl tie in

No, I'm saying whoever owns it would be happy to have it advertised every week to help push their toys and now the upcoming DVD sales. I don't think Fox would have to pay a thing, and would pull in ad money instead.

Edit: Did you say optimus prime gay porno would be an excellent idea?

Oh dude! I used to play that at Fun-Plex when I was a kid! It was pretty sweet.

Okay, you get a pass this week, Cletus. But I will resume hating you again Monday.
