Wow as much as a like the striped socks, you really need the full outfit to make it work. Pretty funny Graham was wearing those to practice.

We will need them both with all the three and four wide receiver looks and all the short crossing routes to the backs and slot receivers.

Yes the Patriots will look to get all 4 of our corners on the field. We need them all for this game and for SD as well.

Patriots are going to try and spread the field and then attack the weakest dback. Same thing Colts always try and do to us.

Those socks make me laugh every damn time. Hopefully they give us an advantage due to hysterical laughter from the Patriots.

Well thats why they do it. When you have a QB who can operate without Max protection you can force a defense to put its weakest dback on the field. Then you throw to that guy all day.

The good news is that Broncos playing much better in the zones this yr.

What happened to Witten last week? I couldn't see what we were doing to defend against him but he was nowhere to be seen.

Rematch of the FIRST EVER AFL game.

... too bad they don't have flexing this early in the year because both the Sunday and Monday night games are crap now. Indy vs Tenn lawl, and Jets vs Miami lawl.

Ironic too because our assumed "badness" is probably what cost us one of those spots.

i think that may have been the pressure we were putting on romo, he wasnt used in the receiving game NEAR enough because we were blowing up the tackles so bad they left him in to block. they showed on playbook how they kept him in to block final 2 plays.

They have been dinged up at WR but it looks like Moss and Welker are both getting healthy. We are too good of a run defense for them to attack us the way they have been attacking some of the other teams. I expect them to spread us out. I agree, though, that our secondary talent allows us to match up well with this tactic. But, I do think we will need all four of our corners ready to go.

I think we will get to find out. But one poster who has probably watched them more this yr then me says they haven't been running the spread as much. It will be fun to see how much help the NE oline needs to protect Brady.

If they end up needing the RB, the TE to stay in and block then we should do really well.

Whether Smith lives up to his draft slot, whatever, but the fact of the matter is that he already seems pretty solid in coverage out there. He's way ahead of where JMFW was his first year, and he's been hurt. It's great to see Jack getting it done, though. He's a strong player.

If we got all those guys healthy at once, it's really tough to beat our secondary. All can cover and all can hit. Love it.

It'll be interesting to see if Alph gets to return punts or not. I think i'd rather have him out there instead of Royal just because Royal's too valuable to lose on a special teams play. McKinley did a fine job last week with kickoffs, as I recall.
