Default Knowshon

I saw him limping after that hit later in the game, is he ok?

I figured it was just a stinger, but just making sure.

By the way, Knowshon looks like a beast

He came back and looked fine. That was on the 3rd down pass that came up short before the field goal. He will be getting more carries the next couple weeks with Buck's ankle injury. I expect him to really assert himself.

He took a pretty good lick, but came right back in and looked fine.
Probably just a bruised thigh.
It didn't appear structural.

he got eaten alive by brooking on that 4th and 1, but in his defense, line blocking wasn't stellar and his onlyoption was to plow brooking. i liked troy aikman's comment that on 3rd, mcd could've taken a shot and then come back with goal line package on 4th.

still, moreno's the real deal. elusive, powerful, solid hands, decent blocker, and gets yards after contact. he even fumbled on the opening play of the 2nd half like TD did in Super Bowl 32--it's all connected...

Yeah, anything but running right into the teeth of that defense...this oline isn't at its best when we go straight ahead to get a yard..I do love how hard Knowshon runs..this guy is going to be a beast if he stays healthy.

This is what I thought too, but hopefully it's not like Stokely's, which apparently got worse as the week went on. Knowshon's a tough SOB though, not concerned

Moreno has done real well running inside in short yardage until that play yesterday. His lead blocker, Hochstein, tripped and stumbled into the line or I think he would have picked it up. The stumble not only messed up the blocking but the timing.

Moreno looked alright after that play. He walked it off it appears.

Just as important is how series is Buckhalter's injury? That guy has been indispensable over the first four games.

I thought they put Darrell Reid in to lead block on that play and he was the one who tripped? Couldn't believe the announcers saying it, then I read it somewhere too. Has that been discussed?

It was definitely a d-lineman or linebacker, I remember noticing the number on the jersey on the replay wasn't a FB or TE number

Yes, I think it was Hillis on 3rd down and Reid on 4th. Disappointing to see us struggle in short yardage situations like we have the last several years. Of course if Scheffler makes a better effort on the 2nd down play we're never in that situation!

When Reid fell he screwed it up. Looked to me like the hole was supposed to be where Reid fell, but when KnoMo got there, it looked like there was a beached whaled laying in the lane. Knowshon tried to cut it up back inside, and ran right into Brooking.

Now that we won, I can laugh about it.

I agree . They definitely shorted us on that spot. Sheffler had the ball AT the spot and they marked it back a full half yard.

It was probably just a major deadleg. He got hit in the perfect spot for it to happen. WE cant afford anymore injuries with Bucky out
