Alot of guys played well (and our coaches did well also and deserve some votes) but I'm giving 2 game balls out today. One for Champ and one for BM.

I have to say, anyone have any doubt Champ will be a first ballot HOFer?

I would have no problem with every QB throwing his way 16 times per game. Anyone disagree?

I think Dawkins said it best with his post game comments. Loosely paraphrased, he said something like it's not smart to challenge a hall of faker on the last two plays of the game, but he's glad they did.

I cant think of another corner who was as crafty and effective in the red zone. Champ has made some brilliant clutch plays while backed up in his own end zone.

Definitely ... his red zone defense is awe-inspiring.

His great Int at New Orleans in 2004 was one of the great plays ever.

And of course the Patriots 99-yarder.

That pick against New Orleans is easily the best pick I have seen in my relatively young football-watching days. I have been watching since '82.

Champ is so good from 10 yards to the back of the end zone because he is so quick with his feet, turns and changes direction very fast, takes great angles to close, has uncanny balance, has quick and good hands, and is good at hiding his intentions while the QB makes his reads.

The INT against SD early in 05 was big too.

I was worried about Champ in the preseason. He looked like he wasn't full-speed and I wondered if he was slowing down.

Well, obviously... I shouldn't have worried.

This guy has been my favorite Bronco for years, now. He's just such a complete player. You can't underestimate how many times in a game this guy comes up and makes a tackle for a short gain when any other CB in the league would have let a guy get 7.

I guarantee you Belicheat and Tom Brady are both believers. They saw the carnage up close and personal. Neither of them are stupid.

They also know Goodman well from his time with the Dolphins. It will be interesting to see how the attack the Broncos. I'm sure it will be with screens and short running back patterns into the flats.

After 4 weeks, it looks like Denver has a freakin' outstanding secondary.

We are actually seeing several coverage sacks a game.

I dont.

Buff brought up Atwater going to 8 pro-bowls but there is a big difference.

Champ GETS the media love and always has. And his 10 pick season is the single best season I have ever witnessed of a CB and for a lengthy period of time he was considered the best CB in the league.

Im telling you, Champ is a first ballot guy.

This is the fourth excellent game he has had this season.

Champ is on, and when Champ has been on the Broncos have been on.

This game was reminiscient of the game against the Pats where he basically made the plays that made the difference for the Broncos. The only other corner who has ever been able to do that type of thing regularly was Sanders, and Sanders wasnt near the tough tackler that Champ is.

He has been good all season....but today he was 2005 good....possibly the finest season I have ever seen from the CB position.

+1.

I didnt see Night Train Lane or some of those other old skool CBs but I saw most of Deion's career and Champs 2005 season surpasses any of Sanders' individual years.

He has been Champ Bailey good this season, which is a patented kind of clutch dominance that is executed better than any other secondary player in the league.

the rules are so different today than when Sanders was playing. Sanders was able to get away with allot more grabbing then
