Hell of a defensive game for Denver! They kicked the Cowboys azz from player to coach today. Even had Joe Buck eating his crow by the end of the game....probably the sweetest part about this game.

I don't think it's too much to ask that we get on the Defensive band wagon baby. Call me the crush, call em Dooms day, call em the Raider invaders, but for heaven sakes, call em when the game is on the line!

No. The OrangeCrush was something unique from an earlier time. This defense is different, they will come up with something themselves.

An editorial...I am so happy the Broncos actually celebrate when they do something worth celebrating rather than after a tackle on a 40 yard run...

after that Goal line stand why not they still call the bears the monsters of the midway and the steelers the steel curtain when they have outstanding Ds.

We have only allowed 26 points. The next closest is Pitt with 50, but they have played just 3 games.

Plus I think we have 15 sacks now. That is on pace for 60 on the year.
We have 10 takeaways, which is on pace for 40.

It will be hard to maintain the pace with our schedule, but this is beyond any of our wildest dreams or expectations.

The Broncos have allowed 26 points through four games, tied for the fifth-fewest points allowed by a team through four games since the 1970 merger.

We are only giving up 3.2 ypc. Last year, it was 5 ypc.

This D might be better than the Orange crush of the 70's if they continue to play this well

Yes but hopefully the offense can improve and contribute more as the season wears on.

Orange crush will only cheapen the heroes of the past, or downplay the accomplishments in the present. These guy's are playing very well, and deserve their own recognition. A new name might be appropriate, that has yet to be determined really, but I would say we shouldn't give the defense a shadow to live under ala QB's and Elway.
