All you coffee drinkers need to wake up. Turkish coffee is incredible. You really don't need to do the whole hookah blowing trip with everything in this link. It works well with boiling water, coffee and go but this gives you the full tour if you are interested.
http://www.ineedcoffee.com/04/turkishcoffee/ It's kind of like cowboy coffee only not as messy. Admit it. You drink coffee for the caffeine. Turkish coffee is Ferrari smooth and gets you where you are going with coffee jitters or the typical stomach burn. Let's face it. American coffee is largely burned beans. There are other ways to get your roast on. This is just one option. Try it and post up. |

I'm just crazy enough, and love coffee enough, to give this a try.

I can't see how that'ed be much different than standard coffee, they recommend Starbucks' Breakfast Blend?
Difference between foaming and boiling changes it that much? |

Where I am I don't foam it or anything. I just pour some grounds in a cup, pour boiling water over it, stir and then serve. It's really that simple. The grounds are powdery but sink to the bottom of the cup. The link I was sharing was to REAL Turkish coffee. There is definitely an art to the preparation and more importantly the coffee tastes good but is strong. I think most coffee in America is burnt. I think Turkish is worth a try. |

I will have to try French Press.
What kind of Expresso Machine do you have? I have not been to the house in awhile. I forgot the name of mine. |

I used to have a little, single cup Italian percolator that I used on the stove. Somewhere along the line I lost it. Now, I just stick with the press.

That Italian percolator sounds cool. I will have to look into that.
