Default How many times in a row has Denver beaten Cleveland?

Need to rub my Turd Stain friend's face in the loss a little more. I remember seeing a statistic in the 2nd half of the broadcast saying we had won 9 in a row, or something like that.

I want to get the actual stat, then harass my friend with it. Anyone remember it, know where to find it, or have the game tivoed??

Also, i am pretty sure im not mixing this up with the 9 home opener wins stat.

The Browns won three of the first four times the teams met (from 1970-1974).

Denver then went on a streak and beat the Browns ten times in a row from 1975 through 1988, including AFC Championship games in 1986 and 1987.

The Browns finally halted that streak with a 16-13 regular season win in 1989, but again lost to the Broncos for the third time in an AFC Championship game later that same season.

The Browns then won in 1990, 30-29, but since then, the Broncos defeated them nine times in a row. (91, 92, 93, 94, 00, 03, 06, 08 and 09.)

I remember the Broncos switching ends in the middle of the game because of all the **** the Dawg Pound was throwing on the field. It cost them the wind and the game.

You can find the data, current through 2007 on the Broncos home page - under the records sections - where they have a historical breakdown against every team.

BTW, the last time the Browns beat the Broncos (in any venue) was in a 2007preseason game, 17-16. But we know those are meaningless, right?
