Default Matt Prater appreciation thread

2 for 2 from 48 and 50.

The first one might've been good from 70.

Just needs to keep the confidence going for 16 weeks. If he can consistently play like he did in the 1st half of last season he can be a top kicker in this league.

Might as well show Tattoo the love also. Those snaps were spot on and you saw today what just one bad snap can do. But yes, Prater's FG's were huge and he also got most of his KO's deep into the endzone.

Good ST's all around today. One shank punt, but GREAT coverage all day long.

Again, those thing go unnoticed, but they make a huge difference. People frown at drafting STs players, but it paid off today... and will continue to do so.

We're building something here, folks. It's just the start, but you saw flashes of it today.

Put me down for none of this.

When you expect your FG kicker to miss every time he steps up to kick, it's a bad sign.

Just don't trust the guy.

Yeah... I have no confidence in him.

It's not like Elam where I expected it and if he failed it was like damn... oh well he'll bounce back.

For Prater it's whew he made it I hope he can do that again.

Prater sucks. I cant recall a high pressure kick he has had to make, and fully expect him to yank it when the situation arises.

We have no option but to keep 3 kickers on the roster.

Prater's leg on kickoffs have been HUGE for field position...

But we is now a liability on big FGs....

His missed FG really killed the momentum from our start today....

That was clutch, but I have liked him even when he was missing. We gotta remember he only started getting coached how to kick last yr. He is a keeper.
