Hooray for Bronco Mike Bell, who looks like the primary ball carrier in New Orleans right now. He got the ball 28 times for 143 yards. It looks like Bush's bust-dom is complete.

I don't know about all time biggest bust...because he has talent...in the recieving game. He's certainly not a complete stiff like Mandarich, Leaf etc....but I agree that he hasn't even come remotely close to matching the expectations.

Reggie Bush is aptly named because he's a total vagina. I've never seen a RB shy away from contact and run for the sidelines like he does.

![]() 1. Reggie Bush. For two years in a row, college football announcers, writers, and media members in general covered this guy like he was the greatest thing ever to come through college. He was drafted #2 overall because Gary Kubiak isnt an idiot. In the NFL he has been a situational player that Saints fans have learned to hate. In his first NFL game, he faked an ankle injury because he was afraid of Ray Lewis. 2. Tony Mandarich. This guy was maybe the first modern-era overhyped prospect. A behemoth tackle who was considered the best to come along in years, he produced nothing. Considering he was taken between Troy Aikman and Barry Sanders, Green Bay fans no doubt lamented this guy's pick every time Sanders highlights were played on ESPN. Deion Sanders and Derrick Johnson were taken right after Barry Sanders. Ouch. 3. Steve Emtman. Most people probably dont have any idea who he is, but he was the first pick in the draft and considered a cant-miss DT. Well, they missed. |

Bad comparison...They're different types of players. A better comparison would be Hillis >>>>>>> Bush.

When he got cut for just being injured a couple years ago I got laughed to scorn in here for saying the guy could play and comparing his production with Marion Barber's that year since they were so close and Barber was running in a more talented offense. Clearly he can play and it was to bad it didn't work here for him since he really wanted to be a Bronco badly. Imagine if Marshall had this kid's heart and desire.

Props to Bell. He loved being a Bronco. He never overwhelmed me, but I'm glad he had a nice game.

Yup, when the defense gives up 6 TD's through the air, I think just about any RB can be effective on the ground. Bell was a hard runner with decent skills but he was no stud. If anything he would only fill a back up role here.
