Is he better than #3 in Denver or should we pick up the phone?

If B-Marsh is really "back in," we don't need any more receivers.

Strange that they didn't keep him for depth.

So what you are saying is we should only call him if he's NOT better than our # 3? Probably not the route I'd go, but what the hell. Let's change it up.

We do have a salary cap to manage, and bringing in a guy who just led a team in receptions the last two years, might cost a bit much. His salary for this year was gonna be 2.25 mil.

why do I think that if Morton Anderson came back and was cut, someone would start a thread "Should we pick up Morton"?

People sometimes get cut because they suck....see Foster, George.

Dude, barely 50 catches each season.

Leading the Viks in receptions wasn't exactly setting the world on fire...

Both seasons for him = 1 for Brandon Marshall in catches and yards

no way he comes in and beats out Stoke or Gaffney, particularly in this system. Leading the Vikes in receiving is no great shakes.

Bobby Wade is not very good...get to/have to watch the vikes every week and he is nothing special. I suppose not a bad 4th/5th wr but I would take our 6 over him.

They didn't want him last time.

I am guessing he looks to the InteRnets message boards for attention and p***Y calling.

Childress is trying a new strategy. Favre will now be throwing to himself...

Pass. We have enough receivers and this guy would have to come in and learn the system. Is he better than Stokley? That's who he'd be competing with. If we're making personnel changes let's do it where it's needed.

I concur, which is why I asked the question. Gold in Minnesota is Aluminum in Denver--in this case, at least.

I'll take Engleberger. Torain, not so much. Cut for injury reasons, not talent, imo.
