Some friends and I are toying with the idea of hitting a game this year and doing it right. And that means showing up early, drinking, and cooking food in the parking lot.
Problem is, we've never done this before. We've all been to various games, but we take the light rail, show up around an hour to kick or whatever, walk around, then catch the game. We're tentatively planning for Thanksgiving, but that's touchy since we all have family obligations. I'm not sure if this matters for lot availability, etc. But what I need to know is this: -Best routes to the stadium, where to get off, park, pricing, etc. I mean, we all know how to get to Invesco, but there's many different lots, etc. Are some better than others when it comes to price? Or is one better than another in terms of ease of leaving? Stuff like that. -Cooking. We want to get a get a grill and cook some food. Any brand recommendations, etc? Nothing fancy, just something portable, easy to get going, something that we could even beat up and not really worry about. Low cost a plus, but not necessarily a requirement. -Advice for potentially bringing a TV or Radio for early games? We may scrap this because we're unsure of power outlets, and really don't want to drain my friend's car battery. This is not essential, just something we thought about... i.e., if anybody has done this before, explain. -Any other pointers you have. Gracias in advance, Go Broncos. |

Oh I hadn't even thought about a deep fryer. That would be epic. I will look into that, thanks.

Now it's become "complicated", (up to a couple dozen people at a time) and there are times I wish I could turn back the clock. |

Don't really get into the "after game scene". I need to get the RV home and start the "After disaster clean-up" and usually work the next day.
