Excellent. It would have been tough for him to get to 5k if he missed some time.

Man if I had bone come through my skin, I don't think I'd be able to leave the house for a month. And then I would only do it in my hockey gear.

Great so now we have to wait till he throws a few picks before we get to see the QB that should've started to begin with

"During the 20 minutes that the media were allowed to watch the workout Tuesday, Orton, wearing a glove on his right hand, threw accurate short passes in warm-up drills. He handed off with his right hand without any apparent problems."

Noticably absent is any mention of him throwing the ball downfield or how much zip he can put on the ball. We still have 5 days so hopefully he gets most of the way healthy.

Nothing against Kyle, but unless your John Elway, i dont want my QB throwing with an injured right hand.

In all fairness, we didn't see him throw the ball downfield through most of the preseason. I guess that's not part of the gameplan anymore.

we did with brandstater and simms...so maybe its not apart of the orton gameplan...which makes me question why orton at all.

I am not a Favre fan, but I do respect him for not missing a start despite a broken right thumb back in 2003 -- and he actually played pretty well. The thumb!!

I could care less how tough he is. If he throws interceptions he won't get a pass cause of the finger. If he plays he should play well or simms should be in there.
