Agreed, especially if LeKevin's got a hurt knee.

About damn time. I've been wanting them to sign him all offseason. He probably didn't want anything to do with camp. Hopefully, he's in good shape.

**** YES **** YES **** YES!!!

I wanted this signing so ****ing bad.

The guy is a ****ing stalwart leader on the D-Line and did amazing in his reps over at Miami, not to mention he was a team captain.

VERY VERY VERY happy if this happens.

Peterson and Holliday at each end with McBean/LeKevin at the reserve is just what I want.

We're going to make transitioning from a 4-3 to a 3-4 look easy with the changes we've done and the adapting the players from last year have made to it, ie Dumervil.

Probably wanted to skip training camp.

He's a smart vet, a good leader, knows both the 3-4 and the 4-3, and he's pretty close to the ideal weight/height for a 3-4 DE.

If this goes through it's a great signing for us.

It gives us vet leadership at all 3 levels of our defense.

Swap out Andra Davis for Ray Lewis and I honestly believe we'd have the makings of a defensive turnaround that's been unseen before considering how bad we were last year.

Very good news! Hopefully in a few weeks once he gets some practice and game reps he will be starting next to Peterson at left DE...

Our D-Line is starting to actually look pretty awesome.

Dolphins fans think he can still play, and was apparently cut because he was making to much money.

I'm not feeling this......http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...s-on-holliday/

I was hoping we would have first crack at him the last couple of weeks in training camp........

I think Von can still play at a high level and it would be great to have him on game day
Quote:
You do realize when u say castoff that Holliday was cut because of contract not because he sucked. He was a starter on last year's defense.

Vonnie still has a little bit left in the tank. How much exactly remains to be seen.

serves us right if he does sign there. we never should've cut him.

Man will you all be bummed if we don't sign him. Seriously don't get your hopes up like it's a done deal, but it would be great if we did!

Not that I saw Nic Clemons play on Thursday night, but a few good plays doesn't make up for being the eternal scrub-type lineman he is (seemingly).

Hopefully Holliday has some juice left as he would be a great help.
