Default Just a reminder about Pat.

I thought it would be beneficial to repost this to provide a look at the beginning of a lot of lies from the front office.

Tell us lex, what's beneficial about it? More like you just want to stir up some more crap, like there isn't already enough of it going around right now.

No matter how much you b**** and moan and complain, Pat is still the owner and Josh is our new HC. Live with it.

Pat is in power now and he wants you to know who is in charge! The face of the franchise.

Easy reference. Also, its possible that it may help people draw inferences from a lot of things such as what happened with Cutler, what happened with Goodman, how Pat has been sucked in to having another coach/GM (since its obvious that was not his intention), to even Pats loss of faculty.

Changing your mind happens every day in business. It doesn't mean you're a liar. Some people really need to grow up and understand that. Pat obviously said something things that he changed his mind on. He's entitled to do that, as we all are. For those who second guess his judgment, just remember he was the one who made the decision to hire Mike in the first place, and that led to a few Superbowls. So get off the guys back already.

Meh. Thats a nice euphemism but even if you believe that, at the very least, it tells you that the phone call about Cassel is more likely the ending more than it was the beginning. To go from "Jay is the man" to that, means something happened to make Pat start tossing Josh's salad.

Bowlen IMO will always try as much as he can to win. If he's going cheap right now its because all the rampant spending over 10 yrs of shanny trying to get back to Superbowl caught up to him.

Shanny wanting a new practice facility probably pissed him off a little. LIke even when you have a bad month your g/f still wants to go to Vegas type pissed.

I mean that wasn't shannahans money being spent on Gardner, Carter, Henry....When shanny picked losers like Oneil, Middlebrooks, Lelie, Foster and Bowlen had to spend first round money on them it wasn't Shannahan who wrote the check.

IMO Bowlen is no only going to make big financial commitments to players he knows are great players, and good people.

If people can't understand that then I think they will mope until Broncos win again. It could be awhile Broncos talent level dipped so low, that no coach or gm could fix it in 1 yr. Not without bigtime FA money and right now Bowlen I think is leary of that route.

He wants to see some Pitt Steeler type drafting and teaching and more patriot like teamwork.

Yeah, this offseason is Shanny's fault.

Yeah, that's the ticket!

.
Actually, a study was done from 2004-2008 which indicated that Denver was 5th best in the NFL in terms of wins per dollar ratio, which suggests that Shanny was squeezing blood out of stones. We haven't been engaging in "rampant" spending for awhile, now.

That looks like an outstanding burger. However, I suspect Pat would prefer this one:
