Has arrived. Since we have a Tom Brady thread, I suppose Aaron Rodgers needs one too.

I have more respect for Green Bay than any other team and I'm glad they've found their day. Looking forward to beating them again in the SB in a couple years.

With all the hype a lot of these QB's get this guy had a great year last year and no one talks about him. He was better than the guy Denver had last year. He put up 4000 yds 28 tds and only 13 picks going along with a 65 percent completion percentage.

I remember then Rodgers was new to the Packers and they did a story on him and how he was most likely going to be Favres replacement. They asked Favre about it and Favre said, that he wasnt going out of his way to help Rodgers. Its a fair point to say that its on Rodgers to earn his keep and people should be expected to spoonfeed him tips but there was something about the way Favre said it that came off bad.
Anyway, considering his circumstances, its easy to respect Rodgers body of work so far. |

He sat on the bench for years behind Farve and has shown he didn't use the time to pout, not care etc. It's showing now. Green Bay has their QB for the next 10 years.

Cutler was the most undeserving pro bowler last season, outside of the LT that stole Clady's spot.

Packers made a good decision to trade Favre to the jets and go with Rodgers. That must of been pretty tough for the Packers to do but they made the right decision.

Agreed, and what once looked like a cake walk for Cutler and the Bears is looking tougher by the day.

I was actually meaning to bring this up, but instead I stayed out and kept drinking. What REALLY impressed me: The guys making completions on his 3rd and fourth reads under significant pressure.
Very impressive. If he keeps this up, GB's right in the NFC title race. |

Cutler shouldn't have been there. Pennington, Cassel, and Rivers all had better seasons than Jay. and because of Cassel being cold for the first half of the season the 3 should have been Manning, Rivers and Pennington.
