Default Obama Is An Irresponsible Baby

Washington Times

Quote:
President Obama took to the conservative airwaves Thursday to charge that Republican leaders are engaged in a vast right-wing conspiracy to kill health care reform in order to repeat the 1994 mid-term takeover of Congress, which followed the defeat of President Clinton's reform plan.

"I think early on, a decision was made by the Republican leadership that said, 'Look, let's not give him a victory, maybe we can have a replay of 1993, '94, when Clinton came in, he failed on health care and then we won in the mid-term elections and we got the majority. And I think there are some folks who are taking a page out that playbook," the president said.
What? Did he expect Republicans to JOIN HIM to pass a socialist power grab of 1/6th of the economy? Did he really think there'd be no objection?

The Democrats were just as obstructionist during the eight years of Bush as the Republicans have been since Obama took office. That's what the opposition party does! It's to be expected.

Obama reminds me of the 10-year-old who sneaks into the gun cabinet, fires a shot into the sofa and then, when caught, tries to blame the 2-year-old.

I'll say it until I'm blue in the face. THE DEMOCRATS DO NOT NEED ONE REPUBLICAN VOTE TO PASS THEIR HEALTH CARE BILL. He's allegedly the leader of his own ****ing party. Why can't he lead it? Why can't he tell his own party "this is what I want and you're going to pass it!"

Truth be told, the Republicans have no leadership. Have you seen any? I haven't. Not even that old traitor fossil McCain is running the party anymore. Limbaugh and Palin hold no elective office and both seem to speak more for themselves than they do the GOP.

The only reason Democrats want any bipartisanship is for political cover if/when their socialist plans fail. If they were dead level sure that this would be a rousing success, they'd pass it themselves and take all the credit. Instead, they are so scared of their voters that they have to go blame Republicans for wanting to defeat their socialist utopia. Weak and childish, Barry.

Republicans are irrelevent here and they will be until 2011. You're getting the chance to dribble down the court uncontested and make the layup everytime because your party has majorities every step of the way. If you can't lead them to pass what you want, it's your own damn fault, Barry.

Stop being a whiny baby and grow some nads. You have the field tilted in your favor, Barry. You have only yourself to blame if you can't get it done.

without dems also opposing this plan its hard for him to make his case. They passed other things with like what either 0 or 2-3 repubs?

Many of the blue dogs were picked by the DNC because they were conservative enough to get elected. They built the majority but now can't govern it.

Those blue dogs vote for the healthcare then repubs win those seats. Thats why he isn't playing hardball and would instead like to win it with some liberal repubs.

They aren't playing and he knows he is in trouble. Obama is failing and his supporters don't even know it yet because they are so enamored with him.

He's even failing to get NATO to do there share in Afghanistan. That is pissing me off. Either help or leave NATO I say.

Thank you for your opinion, Sun Myung Moon. It's a shame that Americans turn to some Korean cultist to get their opinions. That lunatic should be deported forever.

Moon has said, and it is believed by Unification Church members, that he is the Messiah and the Second Coming of Christ and is fulfilling Jesus' unfinished mission.[2][3] He has been among the most controversial modern religious leaders, both for his religious beliefs and for his social and political activism. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sun_Myung_Moon

Nice deflection, Roh. I guess you can't recognize a QUOTE when you see one.

BTW, Zogby is set to release a poll tomorrow that Obama's approval rating among likely voters has now fallen to 45%. I'm going to give Barry the benefit of the doubt and say this dip has more to do with left-wing anger than right-wing anger.

Since Roh is out to attack the messenger to deflect the message, here's the same story from ABC News:

Obama Points Finger at GOP Leadership on Health Care

So I repeat again. a) There's no such thing as "GOP leadership". b) Obama has bulletproof majorities in both houses and doesn't need a single Republican vote so to blame Republicans for not passing socialized medicine is both childish and irresponsible. It's like blaming the busboy at the restaurant for your dinner being overcooked.

At this point, I would prefer that Obama simply tell the American people, "There are too many forces working against health care reform. So we are not going to continue with any effort at reform. Also, many Americans are opposed to any kind of stimulus, so we're stopping that as well. We have disbanded the Fed. The U.S. government will no longer be involved in any of this stuff. We're just going to sit back and let the market determine our course. Enjoy."

Maybe that would force the American people out of their toddlerhood.

The dems built a majority they can't govern. That's like having kids that don't listen to Dad. Let me guess your kids listen to you right? Obama is a joke, the honeymoon is over, people are starting to realize he has no idea what he is doing.

Romney would have gotten it done but my fellow repubs didn't like a Mormon.

Notice Obama won't call out the many dems who won't vote for a public option? Why is that? They don't need 1 repub to pass this bill, how can you blame repubs when they aren't writing it?

This is all about dems and the DNC putting up conservative dems in a ton of elections because they knew liberals wouldn't win in those areas. Now they have built the house, they can't govern it.

Blaming the repubs when the dems have been handed a huge majority won't work IMO. It looks bad when the Presidents own party won't pass his law.

If conservative dems wont vote for it, what makes you think any repubs would like it?

Besides with Obama crumbling on big pharmacy I doubt any of it matters.

Romney the junk bond trader? Yeah. He would have bought stock in big pharma and the giant insurance companies and turned around and given them the key to the American health care system. Next year, premiums up 30%.

I agree with you here. he needs to just try to pass it with dem support, if they don't want to he needs to call them out.
