Yah, that's sort of what I've been wondering. No diss, but the run defense sucks, but if Priest hits stride, KC might make a run like the Rams did. If ya get up by 10 early, the lack of run defense can be ok. Den could afford to run Robinson's d when they had TD and the Man, too.

yeah, but that guy was unstoppable last year. Imagine him with Phillys screen pass game, even now.

TUCKER: You say that Priest (Holmes) is just getting up to full vigor and health. What does it say about a guy who scores 18 or 19 touchdowns before he really gets going? VERMEIL: “Nothing he does real well surprises me or any of us. He’s going to find the endzone. Last week on the practice field, I’m saying, he looked better Wednesday and Thursday than he looked at any time. I thought it carried over into the ball game. He was quicker at practice sessions than he has been before. He’s had a foot problem that’s bothered him and he comes back with a shoulder ache. It all had an influence on his practice preparation during the week. This last week was his best and I thought I saw the positive results in how he played.” |

I thought chi was more about slash's last harrah, and personal revenge for 97 and his only real chance for a lombardi. Guy had a nice game.

The main reason that I want to see this go down is because every time we've played the Chiefs, Shanahan has introduced a new wrinkle to the offense that makes Greg Robinson's defense crap itself.
Watching all of those jocks being dropped on the field during that last game, in which Shanahan highlighted more misdirection than a David Copperfield magic show was a pure joy. |

Tj, you guys better win one of your last 2 games. If you lose both of them, you better hope Baltimore and Cincy don't end up with the same record as you guys !

What i want for playoffs.(oh geez, that's counting chickens before their fried, er..).....is against the Ravens in their house. If we don't get over this bad karma thingey, right away...the rest won't matter. I think if we could beat daCravens....our mojo wiould be unstoppable. Sorta like when we beat KC in their house on one of our super bowl runs. Bring on the Lewis's....time to strap it on.

Sorry, but that's not it. If we do somehow finish 13-3, if Indy loses one more game to either team, and the Pats lose to the BILLS (not the Jets, has to be Buffalo) then we win the #1 seed. I see you have Pats beating Buffalo, but they would have to in order to clinch #1, I say KC finishes 14-2, and I don't know if New England is going to lose, but they can decide who's #1 by playing their two, so I don't see KC in a wild card game, anyways..I think you will be the #6 seed and beat Indianapolis (in the playoffs) and then maybe you'll get us in the divisional, or even beat New England if they're #1 and how great would that be? Denver @ Kansas City AFC Championship. If the game happens period...Kansas City wins 38-27 Last edited by ChiefsFan5840; 12-16-2003 at 01:36 PM.. |

Take any of the Drops ButterPortis made in both games, put one of them in KCs hands(it was a fumble in Denver) and it could have been a different game..... ifs and butts.....don't mean jack. Its what actually happens and who scores. Taco says: "What Trent hasn't shown is that he can win under pressure." Really...What about the Come from behind (17 and 21) AT GB? Green seems to do pretty well, and as a fan....I'm pretty confident, when KC is down by less than 1 score with 2 minutes left and the ball in Green's hands. |

Priest needs 3 TDs to tie Emmit Smith's record for number of rushing TDs in a season. Will he break the record now that his burst is back? Another question, with the sprained knee will Portis have time to regain his burst for the playoffs? His burst is his whole game. |

Since when does Priest need a burst for a TD? Isn't it like a rule the wideouts have to trip inside the 5?

If the Chiefs also go 13-3, Indy will win the tiebreaker. It would go all the way down to Strength of Victory Points, where the Colts are about 10 points ahead of the Chiefs. Mostly due to te fact that the Colts swept their nearest division rival - the 10-4 Titans - while the Chiefs were only able to get a split with Denver. If the Pats win one more game - against anyone - and also finish 13-3, they beat you on tiebreakers too. Vs. common opponents, (Denver, Buffalo, Cleveland, and Houston) both teams would be 4-1. (That is, if we assume that the Pats lose to the Bills. If they lose to the Jets but beat the Bills, they win the tiebreaker right off the top.) Vs. the AFC, both teams would be tied with 2 AFC losses and 1 NFC loss. In terms of Strength of Victory, the Pats are more than 20 points ahead of the Chiefs. You have zero chance of catching them there. So I'm sorry, but your analysis looks to be incorrect. |

DEN wins @ IND TEN wins @ BAL DEN vs KC divisional TEN wins @ NE winner beats Tennessee, no i'm not counting Denver out, but I think KC has an advantage at home, and whoever said Denver would win by double digits is wrong, I'm sorry, Denver could very well win the rest of their games and win it all, but there's no way they are winning by double digits at Arrowhead. |

Not only would you fail to clinch the number one seed, you'd probably fail to get the second seed either. ![]() And now, by claiming that your first statement was not incorrect, you have compounded the error. ![]() |
