Knowshon sighting - walking (no limp) from weight room to main building a little bit ago.

he needs to get back, he is going to be an important part to the Broncos offense this season

he'd also finish the season with over 500 carries, around 4000 yards, and like 75 TDs

In just a couple of carries, Moreno showed me enough to know that he's going to be a high quality player. He has the burst and the vision from the snap to the gap that can really cause some problems for the linebackers and safeties on the other side of the ball.

With Denver's young and talented line, Moreno could very well become a special player here.

But he most likely wont play this week, right? that kind of injury cant be hurried.

Lose the term special. Shanny used the term far too much and it always meant the player sucked. Feel free to apply the term however to Bob, 24Champ, Apa, Atlas, BroncoBuff, TheChamp, Wolf, Spider, and SoCal. Unfortunately the moderator SoCal cannot be added to the ignore list. You know, website rules and all.

I hope we rest him the full two weeks, and he's back out there for the final preseason game. The dude has already shown me heart. You could see when he got hurt, but he didn't hit the turf, didn't complain, and still ran the ball.

Later on, he was actually back in the game when Orton threw his third INT. Moreno has character and toughness. He will be a great match with guys like Hillis, Clady, Harris, et al.. This will be a fun unit to watch this year.

I would be surprised if he plays any games until the last preseason game. He probably will just get 1 or 2 series in that game, and then you rest him until the opener against Cinncy. We will need him for the whole season, no sense in getting him pounded throughout the preseason.

why you say that he is a ficken rookie he has to earn his job! If Hills has to earn something after last year and last week . This rookie RB has showed what better than Hills ?

dude he got hurt in the 2nd carry of the game? What does he need to do to earn your trust? McDaniels and Turner are going to put the best players out there, if that is Knowshon, then so be it, he will have earned it in practice.

What does holding out have to do with getting injured in a preseason game? I suppose all injuries can be linked to holding out? What is your point? If you watched him in practice/the game(the few carries he had) he is going to be our best all around back. Why are you intent on having a pissing match about this? Dude, you draft a kid at 12, he is going to play, especially with how well he did in the practices, OTA's, and the game.

I just don't totally agree with throwing him in a game a week after he reports.
I'm sure working out on his own back at UGA didn't involve any contact.
Fortunately, the injury doesn't appear to be serious, so it's all good in the hood.

For sure he did. Did you notice how quick he gets up after each carry? He is fired up and ready to go for the next one

i honestly wouldn't mind us giving him the rest of the preseason and maybe the opener off, so that once he returns from injury he can practice and get back into game shape so that he can avoid injuries like he is recovering from. Hillis and Buck can carry the load for the opener and allow Moreno to be 100% when he returns

i agree..if he isn't 100% no sense in risking anything...get his legs back, and get him out there when we need him...
