The reason for the enthusiasm surrounding Cutler is obvious. The Bears haven't had a good quarterback in a long time. And his arm seems to be fitted with a hydraulic slingshot. But if I might be the fly in the Kool-Aid, let's see what this guy can do in, you know, a real game before we crown him the next Peyton Manning.

"Jay Cutler aka 'Shredder'. He will shred your D apart and shred through the winds in Chicago and Green Bay to lead us to victory."

We should loan them Mock's "The Blade"

CBF and I did a pretty good job on the Griese Jersey! It's become a ritual in Lot C.

Bears | Cutler would like say in final roster http://www.kffl.com/hotw
Thu, 13 Aug 2009 08:27:07 -0700

Bob LeGere, of the Daily Herald, reports Chicago Bears QB Jay Cutler said he would like to have input on which players make the final roster. "I think they're definitely going to ask me. If they don't ask me, I'm going to tell them what I think because I've got to be the one throwing to them on game day, and I've got to trust them. But [offensive coordinator Ron Turner] and I have been on the same page since the start of training camp in what guys we wanted to see working in with me and what guys have stepped up and what direction we want to go with this group," Cutler said.

Ha ha ha......maybe Jay wants the tallest WRs so he can lock on to them easier

Earl Bennett was one of the happiest people in the world to see Jay traded for this reason.

they wont, chicago is swinging on his nuts now that cutler is in town. cutler is going to turn a below average WR with approximately zero NFL catches into a 70 catch pro bowler. atleast thats the vibe around chicago..

mock him all you want, but jay cutler may be the perfect QB to run the statue of liberty play. he could easily hide the ball behind his double chin. the Broncos better be on the lookout for that in the preseason game.
