ALEXANDRIA, Virginia (CNN) -- Former U.S. Rep. William Jefferson of Louisiana was convicted Wednesday on 11 of the 16 corruption charges against him in a case that included the discovery of $90,000 in his freezer.

But.....how can this be a Democrat who is a POS? I thought that was only the repubs!!!!!

Seriously I didn't vote for McCain or Obama. I left it blank. I thought Bush JR was a strange guy to rise into the party also but I voted for him anyways. I'm not voting again until the guy has good ideas. Not this ohhh the world is warming BS that is for sure.

I can't wait for them to announce we saved the earth 10-15 yrs from now even though co2 levels are just as high or higher. You watch it will happen.

Both parties have their dirt bags it's just Republicans have the majority of them for some reason. Amazing this guy stayed out of prison this long.

Since he's a black democrat, it won't make big news. As one can see, it takes digging in the few articles that report it to find the word "democrat" associated with a democrat politician caught wrong doing. Typically "republican" is in the first sentence, if not the title of the countless stories. But the liberal media is objective though.
