Default John Czarnecki and Dan Pompei -- New HOF Seniors Committee Members

It's that time of year again . . . the HOF Seniors Committee will meet again this weekend in Canton to begin voting on 2 Seniors (retired 25 years or more).

Mike O'Hara and Jerry Magee have retired -- John Czarnecki of Fox Sports and Dan Pompei of Chicago Tribune have been chosen to take their places.

New blood, Broncos fans.

I know the likes of Floyd Little, Rich Jackson and Randy Gradishar have been ignored for years . . . but never give up hope.

Write these guys and get them focused on finally doing the right thing.

They will meet in Canton this weekend, and make their final vote around August 24th . . .

Dan Pompei is one of the better football writers out there....Czar is too cool for the room and while a good writer is arrogant....

Completely agree... I've always liked Dan Pompei's work, but Czarnecki is a hack at best...

Im surprised that tsiguy is willing to advocate Gradishar considering that he never played for McDaniels.

Floyd has little chance, Tombstone has no chance, Randy has a very good chance.

If you're going to put forth an effort, don't muck it up by trying to tout Floyd or Tombstone now. You'll only muck it up for Randy.

If you are going to campaign, start with Randy, who has a legitimate chance. Get Randy in first, then work on Floyd. Don't waste your time on Tombstone.

I still believe that Floyd has the best chance of Gradishar and Tombstone, at least for another year or two.

Pompei and Czarnecki probably don't even know who he is, but Borges and Gosselin have been supporters in the past. Edwin Pope thinks highly of him too.

A lot of HOFers I've talked to think Tom Jackson was just as good if not better than Gradishar. One HOF guard told me about Gradishar, "I never had a problem with him."

Little retired 7th all-time in NFL history, played in 5 Pro Bowls, 2 AFC rushing titles, and 1 NFL rushing title. He was instrumental in keeping the Broncos in Denver.

Little's numbers don't match up in today's 400-carry offenses, but in his era he was one of the best.
