Clady

7/25/2008: Signed a six-year, $14.75 million contract. The deal includes $11.415 million guaranteed. Another $2.55 million is available through incentives. 2009: $2,141,250, 2010: $2,569,500, 2011: $2,997,750, 2012: $1.994 million (Voidable Year), 2013: Free Agent

If true, you've got about $600k more guaranteed which seems reasonable but that $24M would have to be what he could earn through incentives because if not, he's got a contract worth almost $10M more than Clady at the same spot 1 year later.

Normally the terms are release a little while after a player gets signed. I don't think it has happened yet.

If Clady signed a 6-year contract last year.......he shouldn't be a free agent until 2014. Or did he only sign a 5 year deal?

wouldn't that always be the case?

why would they release details before they signed?

It was an O-Maner on Facebook who sent me a chat line ... he's off the site now.

Can't match his real name with a Username here though

Cutler is a QB.

2013 is a voidable year, so he could be a UFA then. I think they're missing the info for 2013 and that voidable year part in '12 is in the wrong spot.

most likely the final year is voidable with playing time incentives met

The best $2,141,250 Pat Bowlen will spend this year. I find it hilarious that Shanny will make three times that amount from the Broncos for keeping his mouth shut and not coaching.

KM must not have nailed Josina yet. If he had, he'd have her number and it would be up on her twitter page by now.

I wish it was Ayers that had been signed, just for the peace of mind. I'm sure he'll be signed soon enough, but it's far more important that a person they want to move around as much as him be in camp over an RB.

Its pretty sad that people say that about Josina just because she is a woman and has decent info. That was never said about Schefter.

afternoon walk through was canceled because of all the administrative crap they had to do today by getting players checked in and all that

Good question, weather maybe? Its gloomy and since its just rookies and injured vets with a few sitting out its not worth moving over to the sports bubble.

No one said it about Schefter because he actually brought good info that no one else could get. Josina has yet to bring anything to that table that's ground-breaking, or even well-reported.

It's quite obvious if you read some of her articles (especially those related to Marshall and one of her Cutler articles), that she's way too close to multiple players on this team. It's not a normal player/reporter relationship and that's absolutely unprofessional as a journalist. Another thing that Schefter would never be called to the mat for because he never did that.

Until JA actually brings some real journalism to the table, don't insult someone like Adam Schefter with their comparison.
