I have never had it, but I imagine it would taste a lot like a cheap, generic beer mixed with high fructose corn syrup and artificial lime flavoring.

BL lime is actually not terrible. Not nearly as bad as I thought it would be.

Tastes like a Corona with the lime.

I agree. My wife brought some home, so I tried one and it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. Much better than Miller Chill, although I wouldn't say it taste like a Corona with lime, but more like a Corona light with carbonated lime juice.

I tried it once. Hated it. It tasted to me like a flat 7-up. I'll stick to lime-free Bud Light, thank you very much.

Btw... isn't there a "man law" somewhere that forbids putting fruit in beer? If not, it should be.

The Miller Chill is better. But for either of those two to go after the Dox equis and Corona market isn't too swift. After the novelty wears off it'll end up on the gimick scrap heap of failed beer such as

Miller Ice
Bud Ice
Natural Light Ice (The above aren't available in my area at least so i believe them to be extinct)
Bud's energy drink beer thing I dunno the name
Red Dog
Red Wolf
Miller Red (This was fantastic when it was still out there, it was worth the minor in possession charge)
Coors dry
Micholob dry
Bud dry
Micholob ultra
Lone star ice (do they get Lone Star in Colorado?)
Is Icehouse still being made?

Anyone remember any I am forgetting?

Oh yeah, you'd have to be from the Lone Star state but Texas Pride was awful and awfully cheap so we drank it anyway

I disagree. I usually drink Bud/ Bud light but when I make my Cheladas I prefer to use Miller Chill, and I usually do not touch Miller.

tecate+clamato+chalula+lime=the best sunday mixture ever. After a long night of boozing, there's nothing like a red beer or 12 to take the edge off

Problem Posed
Can you put a lime or any other fruit in your beer?

Man Law Solution
No, fruit is completely off limits in beer. If one were to put fruit in a beer, they might as well put a little umbrella in it and call it a "beera colada". Man Law: "Don't Fruit the Beer." - "fruit in your beer meat in your rear"

Wasn't that a Miller commercial? Don't they have fruit beers?

People either enjoy or hate bud light lime. Weird thing, I've had it in bottle and can and in a can it tastes a lot better. Its one of those beers thats not too bad on a golf course.

The only fruit allowed in beer is in a Hieve Visen. Anyone who has ever had any brand's version of this knows it dosn't violate man code as it was made long long ago in the re-birthplace of beer Germany

On my last camping trip, one of the guys brought a 12 pack of this piss. Nobody could drink it and it became the joke of the weekend. Awful, awful stuff, and there were no beer snobs in the group. We'll drink pretty much anything, but this stuff tasted like that other lime knockoff beer that didn't last very long called "Tequiza" mixed with vomit.

We left it at the campsite as a "gift" for the next group to come in.
