Default Athlon Sports Broncos cover 09

Denver Broncos
[PFB-09-041]

$7.99

The 2009 Pro Football magazine presents all the great preseason analysis and predictions you've come to expect from Athlon Sports. Catch up on your favorite team’s prospects for the upcoming year, prepare for your fantasy football draft or just kick back with some of our most interesting features yet!

Aside from insightful team-by-team breakdowns, read up on the hot new “Wildcat” formation. We’d seen it in college football, but the Miami Dolphins brought it successfully to the NFL last season, and now teams are finding ways to create their own version of football’s newest gadget offense.

Also, see how Ed Reed and Troy Polamalu are helping turn safety into the league’s new glamour position, enjoy a candid Q&A with Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald, revisit the 1999 NFL Draft, take an amusing look back at the season that was in “Extra Points,” and follow along as we pick out “13 Things to Watch” this season.

And, of course, we reveal our Super Bowl pick, analyze the 2009 NFL Draft, hand out expert fantasy football analysis from our gurus, Dan and Kelly Grogan, and provide you with everything else you need to know about the upcoming football season.

Make the Athlon Sports 2009 Pro Football annual part of your summer reading today!

Pretty Impressive Cover! You can pick up the copy on your local newstands, but they have regional covers. The only way to get this one is to live in CO or buy online. I get the bronco one every year.

For a minute I thought that was Peyton Hillis and I couldn't work out why the hell he would be on a Bears cover.

So true. They generally come out around June 1st and I used to buy them like candy.....Athlon, Lindy's, Profootball Weekly, Street and Smith, etc. So exciting as it meant the season was on it's way. Don't buy them anymore as I get as much info on the Broncos here as there. Still stop at the mag rack and look to see who they are predicting as the SB champ and I do believe it was either Athlon or Lindy's that predicted the Chargers.

I used to do that. Now, with the Internet, the information seems to be so outdated.
