yeah I work with a bunch of people from India and they always tell me that traffic lights mean nothing there. Police don't enforce them, and people jsut do what they want while driving. Pretty insane!

There is no strong concept of insurance there.

Anyway this video is doctored for effect.

Notice how fast the pedestrians seem to be walking. Way faster than normal. The sequence has been sped up for more effect.

But yes traffic is pretty much crazy there. It was impossible to drive there unless you were a local. And outside the major cities, it was always a free for all.

notice no pedestrians walking slowly tho daring you to hit them with that " pedestrian always has the right of way crap" behind them.

India is pure chaos, but somehow it works .. sort of ... and always barely by the skin of their teeth. That applies to the whole country.

Definitely the old version...haven't seen the remake, but remakes are usually disasters, so I'll stay with the classic. Spider as Frankenstein....can't you just picture it??

People have basically figured out how to drive. When there are accidents they are minor because they aren't driving fast. If you could hear the sounds you'd hear non stop horns honking. There the horn sounding is basically a part of the sounds cars make. Even if there's nothing to honk at they constantly honk there horns.

So true!! I've been deployed to Qatar twice and its basically the samething...one hand on the wheel and the other on the horn!! I could never drive there, the have no reguard to there own safety or anyone elses. I'm not sure there even required to have a drivers liecense!!
