That was something to watch! Was a big fan of Ali but I had gone to a few Foreman training camp workouts before the went to Zaire and remember standing right next to Big George when he was working the heavy bag and it was an awesome sight to behold!

He was lifting his trainer, who was holding the heavy bag, clear off the ground and swinging him this way or that in the air! And I could fell the strong wind of those big hay-maker hooks from about 4 or 5 feet away.

I was praying for a miracle and hoping Ali would at least survive the ordeal, but was afraid he was going to get killed.

What a great feeling when Ali rope a doped Foreman out of his jock, wore him down and lowered the boom! A Classic for the ages.

This is gonna be really really hard to believe unless you went to Hodgkins Junior High in Westminster in 1974 ... but I predicted that fight to the letter in the school paper. Ali KO in the 8th. It was weird, because Foreman was heavily favored.

I guess everybody gets one in their life, eh?
