I tried to teach my daughter tennis when she was 5. She had no interest whatsoever.

Holy crap! That's a great swing. What a natural. Honestly, I play with some adults who could do well to watch this kid's motion.

My little angel just turned 3. She's got her first racket. She likes playing with it, and we go out on the court to mess around, but usually she ends up doing just that.

Oh well, she's got a year and change to be as good as this girl so daddy can retire early!

Got my daughter a racquet at 8...5 years later after two years of lessons she likes to hit it back and forth and doesn't care to keep score...

I love stories like this... Little kid who is into it... Father who supports, encourages, but doesn't seem to push. It's great.

Z is asking for a skateboard at two years old. He seems to be a natural on one. He stepped on a board at his friends house, and kicked himself across the room on it while the adults looked on in amazement at how coordinated he was for his first time on a board with wheels. I've been working with him on balance excersizes since he first had strength to stand, and it seems to be paying off.

Same they are such feel good stories. This made me think of the story on Real Sports about Kyle LoGrasso.

For those of you that don't know when just a baby Kyle had cancer/tumors in his eyes but also is a terrific golfer. He even threw out the first pitch at Yankee Stadium a few months ago.

That's what I noticed about her. She has perfect form. Great footwork and a flawless swing.

She'll be burnt out by age 11 and hate daddy forever.

I'm going to tell my kid:

"Hey kid, you can be whatever you want in life, I don't care, ballerina, football player, skate boarder, hair dresser, weightlifter, etc, you betetr just be the best at it so I can retire!"
