Nothing but just more speculation....
TRADES: Ravens still seeking a receiver? It was repeated ad nauseum in the weeks leading up to the draft that the Baltimore Ravens were in desperate need of a breakout wide receiver to push them over the top. Ravens GM Ozzie Newsome obviously disagreed, as the team used its six picks on other areas. The blog NFL Gridiron Gab opines that the door is not completely closed on a trade for Anquan Boldin or Brandon Marshall. Of course, the price for Marshall may be too high, and his persona might not be a fit for John Harbaugh's team. A trade for Boldin would make more sense, but likely won't happen until training camp or later. |

I just wish there was some way to parlay BM into Anquan Boldin.

I cannot see Ozzie doing it, he is way too smart to give up value for the ultimate risk/reward

Actually, isn't that what the Broncos would be doing? Trading Marshall (who has real, actual value to us) for the ultimate risk/reward (texbook definition of draft picks).

I heard we are trading B-Marsh for Haloti Ngata and Suggs. I heard that somebody heard that on the light rail (which we don't have in Oklahoma).

I find it so funny that anyone wanting to ship Brandon out would want Boldin in return. Both guys want out for the same reason, why not just pay the guy you have that is younger and has more potential?

Anyway, it's the NFL, players are going to go up and down throughout the years but so far Boldin has had better seasons and a couple worse. The TD's the last couple years really stand out. |

Is anyone else just resigned to the fact that we will either have marshall or we won't and either way you don't care that much? |

After 3 years they are about even but I have watched Boldin play quite a bit and he is able to get open in the redzone pretty easily and that is something that Marshall struggles with.
