Man, the stand are empty other than the main stretch.
In Nationwide, stands are almost empty last night. With HDTV, I don't know how long loyal crowds ar sustainable with the increased security, DUI checks and $8 flat beers, and no smoking. I all adds up, but the fact is, there is less disposable income now after the financial meltdown. Your going to see it more and more. |

i noticed the same thing yesterday at the nationwide race, everybody hurting a little right now. rumor is that the truck series may be no more after this year

Funny how they keep making Daytona safer.
They allways wreck on the last lap there. Those Goodyear tires suck too. I love it. |

whats amazing to me is how much ****ing money they charge for beer, drinks, etc. how can they keep jacking up prices so bad on this stuff that costs them so little and expect people to keep paying?
it sucks that everyone has to rip the consumer for every penny they are worth just to have a good time. how much doesit cost to go watch a game at invesco now, and to have a good time? for a family of 4, 3-500 dollars minimum, its pathetic. |
