I don't follow a lot of NCAA basketball but I hear this kid is the for sure number 1 pick. Is he good enough to be able to lift Clippers up and actually have a big career in LA not playing for the Lakers?
Or is this kid all hype? |

it is so hard to say but that kid is a physical beast...if he fails it won't be from not having the tools

He has all the tools, but the clippers are a team where good players go to die. He'll probably tear an acl in his first practice

The Clippers some young talent. They might all end up being good players some where else, but if they can develop within the next few years they might decide to stay together.

He's a good player and might help the CLippers become better, but I still dont think it is enough for them to compete in the west

I'm more interested to see how the Wolves do. They have 4 1st round picks.

i think Blake will be a good NBA player, but not great. 20 and 10 is good, but it doesn't win championships. Can he lift the clippers? NO. There is to much negative karma for any one person to overcome. I would play out my first contract and move on to greener pastures if I were him.

I think he'll be a stud. He dominated everyone in college with little to nothing around him. And he hasn't even developed a jumpshot yet. If he can do that a la Kevin Garnett, he'll be unstoppable in the paint.

Eric Gordon really played well for them as a rookie. It's just a shame that they're the Clippers.

Blake is a stud and is the real deal. He'll become a formidable star in the future IMO.

Griffin is a freak.
He has an unbelievable set of natural abilities and is a mature kid with a great blue-collar attitude. He's fun to root for. LA Clippers got exactly the kind of player they need to pick that franchise up. He's a great kid with the "wow" factor in his game. He's a walking highlight reel. |
